How to get started?

Számlázz.hu offers several automation options. Below you can find out which option fits your needs:

💰 IPN (Instant Payment Notification)

There is an option for the web store (or other business application) to receive notifications about the payment status of an invoice via IPN (Instant Payment Notification).

This message is sent by Számlázz.hu to the specified web address as an HTTP POST request. The URL can be specified within the billing account on the Fiók beállítások / Számlázás alapadatok page.

The IPN message contains basic information: invoice number, amount, payment method, date. For detailed technical documentation, see the IPN message page.

🔄 Financial data connection

  • Automatic reception of full document data (invoices, receipts, transactions)
  • Ideal for accounting systems and ERP integrations
  • Detailed, structured XML format with all items and tax information

Steps to get started

1. 📖 Get familiar with the system

Start by studying the How it works? page, where you can learn about:

  • How data sending works (PUSH-type transfer)
  • The communication protocol and the XML format
  • Managing identification keys
  • Error handling and retry logic

Create a test account for development - test accounts are free and can be used indefinitely.

2. Register your system

Contact us or send us an email, and request the registration of your system in Számlázz.hu.

You can find the information required for registration in detail on our Registration page.

3. Activate data sending

After registration, activate data sending in your billing account.

For public connections:

You can activate the online financial data connection after logging in in the Settings / Account Settings / Online Financial Data Connection menu. This feature is included in our #profi package (test accounts are in the #profi package by default, so this is not necessary). Public connections and available accounting systems can be found in the above menu.

For hidden connections:

For details on setting up a hidden connection, see our Registration page.
